Reopening Notice

The W.H. Stark House is currently closed to the public due to considerations relating to Hurricane Ike. The target date for reopening the Stark House is Tuesday, November 4, 2008, at which date normal hours of operation will resume as posted. View our Tour Information section.
The Carriage House of the Stark House will remain closed indefinitely, as a target date for reopening has not yet been determined.
Beginning November 4, 2008 and continuing until the Carriage House is reopened, all tours for the Stark House will begin at the Stark Museum of Art, which is located across Green Ave. from the Stark House at 712 Green Ave. Visitors to the House are asked to park at the Museum parking lot, which is located across 7th Street from the Museum, one block from the Stark House. Visitors are then asked to enter the Museum lobby, which will serve as the starting point for Stark House tours, including ticketing, scheduled tour groups and related information. In addition to visiting the Stark House, visitors are encouraged to plan their schedules to include a tour of the Stark Museum of Art, a sister program of the Stark House, as part of their visit to downtown Orange.
