Upon entering The W.H. Stark House through the 6th Street entrance door, visitors view an impressive Eastlake staircase, which sets the tone for the house tour. Visitors will also find the first of many original Oriental rugs. Long leaf curly pine panels and ornate woodwork exemplify the Stark family’s lumber interests.

The Library is to the right of the entry, and it highlights the extensive book collection of the W.H. Stark family. Down the hall is the elegant Music Room, adorned with cherubs and a majestic grand piano.

Across the hall from the Music Room is the Dining Room, which is seasonally set for a Stark family dinner. The Breakfast Room features a more intimate setting for Stark family meals.

In the Back Hall, visitors will see the unique storage spaces for the table settings as well as the caisson that holds the leaves to the dining table, which is part of the suite of Santo Domingo mahogany furniture in the Dining Room.
